The Caves at Nerja

These caves were discovered in 1959 and are now one of the biggest tourist attractions in Spain and are visited by a large number of tourists each year.

 

          

       

 

 

The caves  lie on the out skirts of the village of Maro and you can take a bus service or the short walk walk if you are fit and energetic.

                      

      

 

If you are visiting Spain in July try and aget some tickets for the annual festival when famous international and national artist perform in this beautiful underground setting.
