Malaga Park

Located opposite the port in Malaga this is one of three important subtropical gardens in Europe, created in the late XIX century the general aim was to landscape a large area which had been reclaimed back from the sea, the original project designed by the Marquess of Larios had before its completion the contributions of many other popular architects of the time, which helped to produce a renaissance style park with a hint of Baroque.

La Concepcion

This estate boasts over 1,000 different species and a number which date back to several centuries are to be found in this enormous wood.

Paloma Park Benalmadena

Just a few metres from the beach la Paloma’s 98,000 square meters make it one of the largest urban parks in the province, one of its most notable features is its enormous lake while its botanical wounders include a collection of Cacti.

Parque La Bateria Torremolinos

On the top of a cliff overlooking the sea is this former defence stronghold which still retains traces of its military past. The park features a series of paths set at different levels designed to protect the sites original woodland.

Jardin de la Consula Churriana

Opposite the main house is a park that once belonged to the Prussian consul, whose post has since been reflected in the name of the garden. The highlight of this garden is the plane tree thought to be the third tallest of its kind in Europe.
