Here, amidst the whispers of coconut palms and the
gentle lull of ocean waves, unwind and rejuvenate.
Set forth on your first escapade, a captivating boat ride
across the calm waters of Negombo lagoon. Find
yourself in a living tableau, where the fishing
community’s daily life blends seamlessly with the
breathtaking natural beauty.

Day 2
In Little Rome
Negombo
Continue exploring through the vibrant pulse of this
town.
Begin your day witnessing the lively energy of the fish
market, where the day’s bounty is proudly displayed by
the skilled fisher folk.
Meander along the quaint streets and marvel at the
ornate churches, adorned with colonial architecture,
earning it the charming nickname “little Rome.” And
see how this quaint fishing town transformed into a
vibrant tourist destination.
The day remains to unwind on the golden shores,
basking in tranquil moments before venturing further
inland.
Negombo Town
- Morning visit to the fish market See how it operates Its wide offerings of fresh sea food
- Travel through the town to see some interesting locations The churches, old fort remnants and the famous canal

Day 3
To the Beginning
Negombo–Anuradhapura
A journey back in time to the first ancient kingdom of
the island.
The ancient kingdom of Anuradhapura, where history
unfolds. From the 5th century BC to the 11th century
AD, this revered kingdom shaped the destiny of the
island, witnessing pivotal moments such as the
introduction and embrace of Buddhism.
Here also lies the hallowed ground of the oldest living
tree known to be planted by human hands.
Ancient City of Anuradhapura
- A UNESCO World Heritage Site
- See the eight most sacred places, the “atamasthana” From colossal stupas, a chapter house, monastic complexes, even an ancient university Sri Maha Bodhi, a cutting of the same tree where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment
- Also make a visit to Mihintalaya, known to be the cradle of Buddhism in the land

A Simple Life
Anuradhapura–Habarana
From the bygone era move to experience the rural life
of the village.
A delightful village experience program, learning
firsthand about their customs, lifestyle, and cherished
values. Partake in traditional activities and connect
with the local villagers for a revelation of simplicity and
authenticity.
After, treat yourself to an authentic local lunch,
specially prepared just for you.
As the sun dips prepare for a captivating evening of
traditional performances. See the rhythmic beats and
graceful movements of dances from various regions
and eras of the island.
Village Experience
- Travel in an old fashioned bullock cart and a catamaran, then in a tuk-tuk or a small local tractor

Habarana–Sigiriya–Polonnaruwa–Habarana

more ancient kingdoms.
Step into the realm of Sigiriya, an awe-inspiring
archaeological and technological marvel. Rising
majestically into the heavens, this 5th-century fortress
and palace complex stand as a testament to human
ingenuity and perseverance.
Enter the hallowed grounds of Polonnaruwa, the seat
of power and unity during Sri Lanka’s golden age from
the 11th to the 13th century. Amidst the remnants of a
once-great kingdom, lies a trove of invaluable life
lessons waiting to be discovered.
Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Mahiyanganaya–Kandy

falls. Conclude your adventure sharing moments of

Coming to Kandy, behold the venerable Temple of the
Sacred Tooth Relic, where the holiest of Buddhist relics,
the sacred tooth of Lord Buddha, is enshrined. This
hallowed site serves as a beacon of spiritual devotion
and cultural heritage for generations.

Colombo City
